Top Ten Calvin and Hobbes Quotes
"It's a magical world, Hobbes, ol' buddy. Let's go exploring!" — Calvin, in the final Calvin and Hobbes strip
On November 18, 1985, a new comic strip by Bill Watterson arrived on the comics pages of newspapers across the world. This comic, Calvin and Hobbes, chronicled the adventures of Calvin, an energetic six year old boy, and his stuffed tiger, Hobbes. Through Calvin's imagination, we saw snowmen coming to life, cardboard boxes functioning as time machines, and teachers transforming into cruel alien overlords.
The comic became a huge success and was ultimately carried in over 2,400 newspapers worldwide. On December 31, 1995, Watterson chose to end the strip at the height of its popularity because he wanted to ensure that its quality never diminished.
In honor of this classic comic strip and its talented creator, we give you our top ten Calvin and Hobbes quotes...
